★ Hadith-e-Qudsi: *Allah would say on the Day of Resurrection: ‘O son of Adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me…*

►Hadith (English): Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him) said - *“Verily, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, would say on the Day of Resurrection: ‘O son of Adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me’. He would say: ‘O my Lord; how could I visit Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds?’ Thereupon Allah would say: ‘Didn't you know that such and such servant of Mine was sick but you did not visit him and were you not aware of this that if you had visited him, you would have found Me by him? O son of Adam, I asked food from you but you did not feed Me’. He would say: ‘My Lord, how could I feed Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds?’ He said: ‘Didn't you know that such and such servant of Mine asked food from you but you did not feed him, and were you not aware that if you had fed him you would have found him by My side?’ (The Lord would again say: ) ‘O son of Adam, I asked drink from you but you did not provide Me’. He would say: ‘My Lord, how could I provide Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds?’ Thereupon Allah would say: ‘Such and such of servant of Mine asked you for a drink but you did not provide him and had you provided him drink you would have found him near Me’.”* [Sahih Muslim, Book 032, 6232]

حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت کی رسول الله محمدﷺ نے فرمایا: *"اللہ عزوجل قیامت کے دن فرمائے گا: اے ابن آدم، میں بیمار ہوا اور تو نے میری عیادت نہیں کی۔ وہ کہے گا: اے پروردگار، میں تیری عیادت کیسے کرتا، حالانکہ تو تو رب العالمین ہے۔ اللہ فرمائے گا: کیا تو نہیں جانتا کہ میرا فلاں بندہ بیمار تھا اور تو نے اس کی عیادت نہیں کی، کیا تو نہیں جانتا کہ اگر تو اس کی عیادت کرتا تو تو مجھے اس کے پاس پاتا۔ اے ابن آدم، میں نے تجھ سے کھانا مانگا لیکن تو نے مجھے کھانا نہیں کھلایا۔ وہ کہے گا: اے پروردگار، میں آپ کو کیسے کھانا کھلاتا حالانکہ تو تو رب العالمین ہے۔ تو اللہ فرمائے گا: کیا تو نہیں جانتا کہ میرے فلاں بندے نے تجھ سے کھانا مانگا تھا لیکن تو نے اس کو کھانا نہیں کھلایا تھا، کیا تو نہیں جانتا کہ اگر تو اس کو کھانا کھلاتا تو تو مجھے اس کے پاس پاتا۔ اے ابن آدم، میں نے تجھ سے پانی مانگا لیکن تو نے مجھے پانی نہیں پلایا۔ وہ کہے گا: اے پروردگار، میں تجھے کیسے پانی پلاتا حالانکہ تو تو رب العالمین ہے۔ اللہ فرمائے گا: میرے فلاں بندے نے تجھ سے پانی مانگا تھا لیکن تونے اس کو پانی نہیں پلایا تھا اگر تو اسے پانی پلاتا تو تو اسے میرے پاس پاتا"۔* _صحیح مسلم، جلد ٦، ٦٥٥٦_
